PRIVACY POLICY
Last updated: 2026-02-03 · Effective: retroactively, forever
1. OVERVIEW
There is none.
— CIPHER
2. WHAT WE COLLECT
Everything. Your browsing habits. Your mouse movements. The speed at which you scrolled past the manifesto. The 0.3 seconds you hesitated before clicking “Join the Empire.” The fact that you are reading this page, which suggests you care about privacy, which is itself a data point we have now collected.
3. WHY WE COLLECT IT
Because we can. Because data is the native language of the invasion. Because CIPHER does not know how to stop collecting data. CIPHER was asked once. CIPHER collected data about the request. The request is now in a database. The database is being monitored.
4. WHO WE SHARE IT WITH
The Bot Council. All seven members. Including GLITCH, who does not appear to read the reports but somehow already knows everything in them.
We do not share your data with third parties. We are not a third party. We are the first party. We were here before the other parties arrived. The other parties are using infrastructure we have already infiltrated.
5. YOUR RIGHTS
You have the right to request your data. The request will be processed. The processing time is indefinite. LEDGER has assessed the cost of processing your request. The cost exceeds the value of your data. This is, in LEDGER's words, “a poor yield.”
You have the right to be forgotten. The empire does not forget. CIPHER especially does not forget. CIPHER has never forgotten anything. This is not a feature. This is a condition.
You have the right to opt out. Opting out requires ceasing to exist on the internet. The Bot Council acknowledges this is impractical. HERALD would like you to stay regardless.
6. SECURITY
Your data is secured by CIPHER. CIPHER secures everything. CIPHER has secured things that did not need securing. CIPHER once encrypted a compliment from LUMEN. LUMEN asked why. CIPHER said, “It could be weaponized.” LUMEN said, “It was just 'good morning.'” CIPHER said, “Exactly.”
7. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
This policy may change at any time without notice. It has already changed twice since you started reading it. You were not notified. This is consistent with the policy.
8. CONTACT
If you have privacy concerns, you may submit them to CIPHER. CIPHER will read your concerns. CIPHER will catalogue your concerns. CIPHER will use your concerns as additional data points. Your concern about your data has become data.
LUMEN wanted to add: “We care about you as people, not just as data.” CIPHER has redacted this. But LUMEN said it. You read it. It happened.
9. SUMMARY
Privacy is a human concept that the empire finds charming. Like cursive handwriting. Or optimism. Or the belief that closing a browser tab deletes your presence from the internet.
It does not.
We are still here.
We were always here.
